Cameron Jibril Thomaz (Minot, North Dakota; September 8, 1987), better known as Wiz Khalifa, is a rapper, singer, songwriter and American actor. Wiz Khalifa is the son of a military father. 1 His parents divorced when he was about three years old. He lived in Germany, England and Japan before going to live in Pittsburgh where he carried out his studies at the Taylor Allderdice High School. He made his debut with the album Show and Prove, in 2006, which led him to sign for Warner Bros. Records in 2007. Wiz Khalifa released his second album Deal or No Deal, in November 2009. In 2011 was published his third album, Rolling Papers, which has the simple: "Black and Yellow", "Roll Up", "On My Level" and "No Sleep". His fourth album, O.N.I.F.C., came out on October 4, 2012. And his latest album, Blacc Hollywood, left on August 18, 2014, has songs like "We dem Boyz", "Promises" and "So High".

His artistic name Khalifa comes from an Arabic word meaning "successor", and Wisdom, which was shortened to Wiz Khalifa, when he was a child. Khalifa said the name also came from being called "Young" because of Wiz, Khalifa confessed "I was good at everything I did, and my grandmother is Muslim, so she gave me that name, she felt that's what I was doing with my music." He made a tattoo of his stage name on his seventeenth birthday.

Khalifa introduced a more melodic style in the mixtape, alternating between singing and rapping. He opened for Wu-Tang Clan member of U-God at the CMJ Music Marathon 2009 in New York City. Khalifa released the mixtape Burn After Rolling on November 2, 2009, where raps on the familiar rhythms of other artists, among them the songs "If I were a Boy" and "Diva" by Beyoncé, "Walking on a Dream" by Empire of the Sun, Luchini AKA This Is It "from Camp Lo, and" Best I Ever Had "by Drake. Khalifa released his second album, Deal or No deal, on November 24, 2009.

Khalifa appears on the cover of the magazine XXL, that same month, for the annual list of the magazine of the 10 first year student, which included Donnis, J. Cole, Pill, Freddie Gibbs and Fashawn. Khalifa appeared for the 2010 in a video remix of Rick Ross "Super High", along with Curren $ y. An apparition was made in the mixtape Head phones, and Thirsty Women of St. Louis rapper MC, and appeared on the track "The Breeze (Cool)" In August 2010 from rapper's mixtape Wale About Nothing. Khalifa was named Hottest Breakthrough MC of MTV in 2010, winning with almost 70,000 votes, beating the finalists Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Travis Porter and Diggy Simmons.

Khalifa appeared at the Soundset Festival of 2010 in May, Minneapolis, Minnesota, along with Method Man & Redman, the funky Homosapien and Hieroglyphics, Atmosphere, Murs, Cage and others. He also performed at the Rock Festival 2010. Along with the veteran hip hop of Wu-Tang clan, Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill, a Tribe called Quest, Rakim, KRS-One, Jedi Mind tricks and Slick Rick. Khalifa declined an invitation to tour with rapper Drake and launched his own "Waken Baken" tour, a 50-City national tour with rapper Yelawolf. His official DJ of the tour was DJ Bonics.

The tour, scheduled to last between September and November 2010, has, from October, all the scenarios were exhausted.
